megan and i dressed up as fallout 3 characters for halloween. i’m a vault 101 escapee/the main character. she is just a hardass wastelander ghoul that discovered an old pipboy somewhere. 

i made both pipboys from scratch using metal tubing, spray foam insulation, papier mache, spray paint, and battery operated flicker tea-lights. 

i did megan’s make-up, made the white arm band, rehashed the brown shirt she is wearing, and took a pair of lab goggles covered them in corduroy and spray painted them.

the vault 101 uniform is a pair of coveralls i ordered online. i added the yellow fabric and 101 on the back and stitched it on the collar. i found the black boots at a thrift store for $11. i took an old belt and added a large key-ring and bought some keys from michaels for a buck a piece (megan had one too). the respirator i had from a photography class. i just added new elastic so i could wear it around my neck. we bought $1 toy guns at the dollar tree and spray painted them.
