DragonCon Recap: Sunday (a.k.a. S.Q.U.A.T. Day, a.k.a. Operation: Felicia Friends!)
Because let’s be serious, my only mission on this day was to find Felicia Day and take a picture with her. The master plan was to somehow become her friend, but the signing line was way too crazy for that and the autograph hall was going to be closing soon.

Anyway, onto the costumes! It took me about 4 weeks (working on them for about an hour each day) to complete them both - the knee pads, leg holster and vest are all painted. I ran out of time, but I may add the elbow pads and wear it again next year. I’m pretty sure Robin Vane (the original costumer) used a combination of Sharpie and fabric pens (maybe?) but I ended up using acrylic paint. It was just a medium I’m more comfortable with using.

ALSO. Kim Evey (who produces The Guild) tweeted a photo of me. That made my whole freaking weekend. Now all I need to do is convince the Geek and Sundry folks that they need another graphic designer/artist on their payroll. ;)

best. cosplay. ever.
